Over the course of this summer, the Boundary Waters have experienced certain days when the smoke rolls in and settles for a few days from forest fires happening across Canada. Recently, we have received many phone calls from individuals concerned about the air quality in our area. Usually it starts with a bit of haze on the horizon of Sawbill Lake. The smoke will stick around for a few days. Sometimes there is a taste of it in the air but not usually. Today, we have clear skies and beautiful weather.
